OVERVIEW

Juris Corp has extensive experience in relation to advising various clients on the aspects of Competition laws such as Combination Regulations, Anti-competitive agreements etc. The Firm and its members have represented clients in various forums in India in relation to disputes relating to Competition Law including the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, NCLAT and the erstwhile COMPAT. The Firm has emerged as one of the leading law firms in India in this arena. In a short period of time, the Firm has acquired unique experience in advising and handling of these disputes involving interplay of diverse foreign laws and different jurisdictions.

Juris Corp has extensively participated in the deliberation on the draft Combination Regulations published by the Competition Commission of India ("CCI") in 2011 as well as the Combination Amendment Regulation, 2018. The Firm is a registered Advocate on record for the Supreme Court and has also been empanelled with the CCI since 2013 and is the preferred counsel for the CCI in Mumbai. As per the terms of the empanelment, the Firm is free to act against the CCI in unconnected matters.
